Community Bank Apollo Bay & District

Our Bank. Our Bay. Growing Each Day.

About Our Community Investment

Community Bank Apollo Bay & District is committed to investing in our local community. The profit generated from our banking services enables us to provide financial support to local organisations and initiatives that strengthen our community.

We recognise that successful communities create successful businesses - not the other way around. By banking with us, you're directly contributing to projects that enhance the prosperity and wellbeing of Apollo Bay and surrounding districts.

How the Community Bank Model Works

The Community Bank model is unique in Australian banking. Here's how it works:

  1. Local ownership: Our Community Bank is locally owned and operated through a franchise agreement with Bendigo Bank.
  2. Revenue sharing: When you bank with us, income generated from your accounts, loans, and services is shared between our local company and Bendigo Bank.
  3. Local decisions: Our local board of directors determines how to invest our portion of profits back into the Apollo Bay and District community.
  4. Complete banking: We offer the full range of Bendigo Bank products and services, with the added benefit that your banking supports local projects.
  5. The circle completes: When community members and organisations bank with us, our profits grow, allowing us to invest more in local initiatives, which strengthens our community, creating a positive cycle of local prosperity.

By simply doing your banking with Community Bank Apollo Bay & District, you're participating in this cycle of community reinvestment and building a more prosperous Apollo Bay & surrounds.
